About 5.40 a.m.Sunday 2 February 1975 Senior Constable Wilson was driving a police vehicle north in Stud Road Scoresby. He swerved to avoid another vehicle which pulled out in front of him and lost control of his car which skidded off the road and overturned. Wilson was thrown out of the vehicle and fatally injured.
